Sunday, 4/11/2021, Chenrezig Online Practice with Ven. Lama Kalsang

This Sunday, 4/11, at 10am, Lama Kalsang will lead our Chenrezig practice online.  Chenrezig is revered in Tibetan Buddhism as the bodhisattva who looks upon all sentient beings with the eye of compassion.  The six-syllable mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, which means “jewel in a lotus”, symbolizes the altruistic intention of the great bodhisattva to become enlightened in order to liberate all beings from the mire of suffering.  Please join us:

Introduction to Tibetan Buddhism

Our Saturday practice will be returning in May – while we are on spring break, we continue to encourage you to attend Saturday morning teachings by Khenchen Konchog Gyaltsen Rinpoche, a high master in our lineage and the center’s founding Spiritual Director.  Even though these teachings are not at an introductory or beginning level, anyone with an open mind and true interest in dharma will benefit from hearing this master.  This Saturday, 4/10, at 10a (EST) he will be giving a public talk on What the Buddha Taught. https://dkdharmacircle.org
