Sunday, 5/9/2021, Medicine Buddha Practice Online with Ven. Lama Kalsang

This Sunday, 5/9/2021, at 10am, Ven. Lama Kalsang will lead the Medicine Buddha Practice online. As a spiritual support for all people affected by this global pandemic, this is a practice to connect us to the healing power of the Medicine Buddha.  Our weekly practice is an opportunity to reconnect as a group, quiet our mind, uplift our spirit, and strengthen our efforts especially during this difficult time.  Please join us.

Every Saturday at 10 am. Basic Buddhism: Practice and Study with Lama Kalsang and Jonnie Viakley, We will be studying The Wheel of Life, which is a a series of visual images arranged in an intricate diagram of concentric circles. Sunday, 4/25/2021, Buddha Amitabha Online Practice with Ven. Lama Kalsang

This Sunday, 4/25, at 10am, Ven. Lama Kalsang will lead the Buddha Amitabha Practice online.  Amitabha means “Infinite Light”, or “Boundless Illumination”.  The chanting of the Amitabha mantras and prayers to help the deceased to swiftly go through bardo to reach the Pure Land of Great Happiness (Sukhavati in Sanskrit, and Dewachen in Tibetan) is practiced by buddhists of many traditions all over the world.   May this practice benefit all sentient beings.  The sadhana text will be made available when you join our Zoom meeting. Please join us:

Our Saturday practice will be returning in May – while we are on spring break, we continue to encourage you to attend Saturday morning teachings by Khenchen Konchog Gyaltsen Rinpoche, a high master in our lineage and our center’s founding Spiritual Director.  Even though these teachings are not at an introductory or beginning level, anyone with an open mind and true interest in dharma will benefit from hearing this master.  This Saturday, 4/24 at 10a (EST) he will be giving a teaching on How to Transform Individualism into Altruism & How to Maintain a Positive Mind in Difficult Times. https://dkdharmacircle.org

Sunday, 4/11/2021, Chenrezig Online Practice with Ven. Lama Kalsang

This Sunday, 4/11, at 10am, Lama Kalsang will lead our Chenrezig practice online.  Chenrezig is revered in Tibetan Buddhism as the bodhisattva who looks upon all sentient beings with the eye of compassion.  The six-syllable mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, which means “jewel in a lotus”, symbolizes the altruistic intention of the great bodhisattva to become enlightened in order to liberate all beings from the mire of suffering.  Please join us:
