Online Resources

There are many wonderful resources in all traditions and lineages. Always be sure to examine the qualifications and authenticity of any teacher, author or other source you rely on. These are among the online resources in the Drikung Kagyu lineage.

The main seat of the Drikung Kagyu lineage is www.drikung.org. You can find texts and short teachings there.

Two great masters in the Drikung Kagyu lineage with whom our center has a heart connection are H.E. Khenchen Konchog Gyaltshen Rinpoche and H.E. Garchen Rinpoche. When H.E. Khenchen Rinpoche is in the United States you can follow his teachings at www.dkdharmacircle.org.

H.E. Garchen Rinpoche’s main center is The Garchen Buddhist Institute www.garchen.net. You can join teachings and practices there by livestream and also find them archived on the website and on the Institute’s YouTube channel. You can also find practice texts and materials on the website.

Drikung Dharma Surya Center is one of H.E. Garchen Rinpoche’s centers and includes links to his teachings, for example, this short text on The Five Fold Path of Mahamudra.

You can join morning meditation practices at www.drikungboston.org and at www.gardrolma.org.

Rinchen Ling in Kathmandu, Nepal, is the monastery of our Spiritual Director, Khenpo Choephel, who is now Abbot of Rinchen Ling, and of our Resident Teacher, Lama Kalsang. It is also the monastery of Nubpa Rinpoche and Drubwang Rinpoche. Although Rinchen Ling does not regularly livestream its activities, you can follow them on Facebook.

Dharma for Kids helps them learn and develop positive values that make them more peaceful, happy, confident and resilient.  It is a project of Drikung Dharma Surya Center, Fairfax, VA.
